was all prepared for my first attempt at infrared photography today at chinese garden...

even the weather turned out well enuff (luckily it rained only when i reached chinese garden mrt station) to last me thru' my shoot...

BUT...i screw-up the custom white balance!!! stupid me!!!

set a custom white balance zoomed in on a patch of sunlight-lit grass W/O my filter on!!!

anyway...i managed to "salvage" (with the help of photoshop of course) some shots which i felt turned out quite different frm my normal landscapes...

nice try jason. may i asked what gear u used and the exif please?

You used film or?

I think the results are interesting, just that looks to me that all the highlights are blown out.

pogeeako: thx bro...D70 + Tokina 12-24 (w/o filter) + Cokin 007 IR Filter (handheld in order to shoot at 12mm)...all shots at ISO 200 + f/8 + 1sec...

night86mare: point noted...guess i tried too hard to "salvage" the shots n ended up with blown-out highlights...
