I understand what is tethered shooting but the purpose of the laptop was not mentioned initially. Also, will shooting tethered be more of an inconvenience then?

Those who are coming, I would assume that you have yr Nikon camera + at least 1 x speedlight. So I am not listing these 'generic' equipment, we should have more than enough.

Anyway, I think we go through some lighting concept (non technical) first for all newbies,(experts please be patient).I don't think think they will learn anything by following blindly.

We would not be shooting tether unless Randius got camera remote 2 or capture one

One more thing to add
Please bring yr tripod (if u want night shoot or use tripod to support your flash)
The stand that comes with the flash and gel set.

Update: There wouldn't be any model, as we cannot come to term with the pricing. She is quoting a minimum of 2 hrs for $100.
I will wait and see if any other models reply.
