i5 MBP vs i7 MBA?

Hi everyone, I need advice between the 2 below.
These 2 setups aren't the best workhorses, but currently they fit in more to my budget. Basically I'll be using for:
- Photo editing (Lightroom 4/5)
- Video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro CS6/ CC)

13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display
2.6GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5, Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz
8GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
512GB PCIe-based Flash Storage
S$ 2,488.00 incl. GST

13-inch MacBook Air
1.7GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.3GHz
8GB 1600MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM
512GB Flash Storage
S$ 2,558.00 incl. GST

2.6Ghz on i5, but 1.7Ghz on the i7? Which is a better performer?

Always go for the PRO for video editing. No matter the situation.
