Cathy is the local distributor, if they also don't have, than I guess you have to buy online from B&H or Adorama, it will faster than place an indent order.

btw,

I found the following reviews posted in Amazon about this filter is so hilarious.

Hoya 77mm HMC UV-IR Digital Multi-Coated Slim Frame Glass Filter (Camera)
The Hoya 77mm HMC UV-IR digital multi-coated slim filter perfectly fits the lens of my Nikon D700. While I haven't yet been able to actually try it out, it came highly recommended to me by a professional. I suspect I won't be disappointed.

I suspect that if you had waited to use the item before delivering your glowing review, perhaps your rating might actually be meaningful. Way to contribute to the infestation of unconscious cretinous "reviews" on Amazon, which rank nearly as high on the not-even-slightly-helpful scale as the "I don't know" responses to posted product questions. Bravo.

Arthur, thanks for the criticism of my review and I totally agree with you--I should have used the filter first. So now I have. It keeps dust off my lens very well. It fits perfectly on my Nikon zoom lens. I have been told it is the sort of filter to use on a digital SLR. Does it eliminate UV and other pesky rays? Who knows? I have faith that it does. A photog dealer also told me the lens is highly resistant to breakage, and perhaps I should have noted that. I haven't put it to the "breakage test." However, I've never damaged a filter in 50+ years of picture taking, so don't worry much about that. The vendor sent the filter in a timely manner, so will give high marks for that. Otherwise, how the heck does one know everything a filter is doing? Let's just say, so far I love it. Will still give max marks.

haha ya sia, I think I will have to order.... and that review is freaking hilarious. the OP's response is top notch. lol
