How to refresh thread without reposting?

Hi, may I know how do I refresh my thread such that it appears at page 1 without reposting a new thread?

it's the system of the forum,

after they filtered the different sections, the default sorting for the threads is on the latest thread on top.
no longer lastest post on top as before.

nothing to do with the method of posting, readers just have to manually click to sort by latest posts i guess.

correct me if i'm wrong.
