Just wondering, is there anyway I can get rid of the rings created by the sun's ray aside from using the clone tool?

While you're trying to get rid of the lens flare... I'm trying very hard to get one!:bsmilie:

if you are not shooting into the sun like here, you can try to "shield" your lens with your hands or any object.

otherwise, no, there is no other way to remove such flare. clone is your best bet, but here, clone is going to be a pain in the arse..

yes it is a pain to use the clone tool. oh well cannot salvage this pic haha

No no really...
Sometimes flare really does make a picture look nice...
I'm not trying to be funny here:)

haha i know what u mean.. maybe its all in the angle of how the ray comes into your lens. but in this case, the lens flare is so annoying to me :)

The flare gives it a nice effect in this case. If there wasn't the flare, I'd say the photo would be boring.
