How to force a firmware update on my Nokia E71

After these many years in CS, I realise that there is a wide range of experts here, so here goes:

I want to update my Nokia E71 firmware. It's an export set bought in SimLim, nothing is wrong with it. But I would like to upgrade the firmware to a local firmware.

Any advice on how to do it myself? or where can I get it done? Or if you can do it how much?

do u mean product code?

firmware is same everywhere.. use Nokia Software Updater. remembered to has your hp charge when do the software updates.


if you did a internet search on 'change product code for nokia', there is video clip show and guide u how to change the product code. but most important u need to know the acutal product code for local version.
