I have to say, its usually number 2, love using wide lenses, zone focus and wait for the right framing to snap away!
However, focusing by anticipation is great when using a nice and fast lens, helps you get a great bokeh effect at times and thats always enjoyable!
And definitely the last at times, especially when you are on your edge to get the shot = no choice as he says.

For sone focusing, usually smaller apertures to increase DOF. Therefore not much bokeh.

Mostly 1 actually, result of moving to RF after starting out on SLR.

But like many others, the 15mm at infinity allows me to hyperfocus and shoot from any position.
