Hi guys,

I have been playing with my Epson RD1s and is having a ball with it.
Shooting a subject stationary is easy as I can take my time to focus.
But what do you do, when your subject is moving. How do you focus on time to take the perfect shot?

Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

You can use the zone focusing or hyper focusing method to help you out.

Check out the thread:

while walking around, I always have my zone focusing pre-set so you wouldnt miss out on those kinda of shots

In the old school of thought, there is a term "depth of field" for every lens. If yours is Leica, then download from their website. Do a search in google and lots of information on it.

Quoted for truth! It takes alot of practice.

IMO it is alot easier for me to manual focus on a moving object using RF than on a SLR.
