Hi,

I am using an Sigma 10-20mm and I noticed that the lens tends to get hot spot, especially when shooting the sky (not against the sun of course :) )

I have tried apertures from F4-F11, so i think aperture is not the major cause in this case

Anyone using any other ultra wide lens having better luck ?
or anyway to minimise this issue ? (without changing len ... )

Thanks in advance

Sigma 10-20mm is known to have hot spots for IR at certain apertures.

I'm using Toking 10-17mm FE zoom. So far have not experienced any hot spots.
Here're are 2 sample IR pics shot with the Tokina at f/8, pp in duo-tone.

thanks for the information,
for my case, i realised that the hot spot gets obvious as i try to make color IR in PP,
e.g. making the sky blue
