I would like to ask if there is anyone using a hot shoe meter for your meterless camera? I am planning to get one and use them on my Russian cameras. Not sure which one is a value for money? Any inputs and personal reviews?
Thanks everyone! Seems that the choice is between either the Sekonic or Voigtlander. Many good reviews of the VC meter. Any users of Sekonic? How good is it?

Sekonic is a reliable brand for light meters and the L208 is no exemption. Used it before and liked it because it is small (able to fit into the pocket), light, accurate and simple to use. It is really affordable brand new too and I guess that is a plus.
If it is a reliable light meter plus looks that you are looking for, the VC II would be an awesome choice; but of course, there is a premium for that
All the above meter can do reflective metering and all meter can work like Av mode function:
- VCII: set ur aperture and turn the shutter time to green light.
- Sekonic 208: just match 2 needles and you have all the combination of aperture & speed -> you choose ur desired aperture and get the corresponding shutter speed.
If you want "true" Av mode like your camera (preset the aperture), u can try those bigger & digital reading sekonic such as 308, 358, etc. They are not hotshoe meter.
