hi all, i've just came back from Hongkong and i notice that the prices of the nikon lenses are very good over there.
Base on http://www.ygdragon.net/index.php?page=photo/cameraprice.htm, i have got some good pricing sligthly better then those stated and plus the :thumbsup: exchange rate of $4.9, it can make your purchases worth while. :lovegrin:
If you are goin there to get 2 or more lenses, it can cover back the air-ticket prices(budget airline sure can).
Imagine you can save 300-600 saving for some lenses that if you are getting from local shops.
For example a Nikon widest angle zoom lens AF-S DX 12-24mm F4 is going for ~HKD$6350 @rate of $4.9 ~SGD$1300 as compare to local price ~$1600? and MO price $1480? :think:

As stated in the thread, the 2nd shop that they mention "xin san ko" got good price for nikon NC filters (77mm) around HKD$300-$350 but must get at least 5pcs ~ 10pcs. (which was then i share with my friends)
There are other things avaliable in this shop like "water" goods, which is quite a tempting price to get eg. AF-S 17-35mm for below SGD$2000.(But i've got it at Manshing @~$2100) :bigeyes:
