Want to know what a chameleon sees? Pany's new HC-W850 has two lenses recording 2 different angles on one camcorder!!

The tiny lens on the LCD hatch embeds VGA sized video PIP in-cam.

Aside from the gimicky selfie-cam function, the specs on the W850 are quite impressive:
• 20X optical zoom!
• mic and headphone ports
• 5-axis stabilisation
• Up to 4X slow-mo via in-camera "twixting" at 1080p(max 120fps)
• BSI sensor
• Level shot auto horizon correction

Are the 2 angle lens fixed at 180 degrees ? If can set the angle then it is good for multicam. But from the video, it looks like can only take ownself (which means only 180 degrees).

Another thing is, will it records the 2 angles in 2 separate SD cards with both at 1920 x 1080 independent by itself ? Meaning we can edit it individually to use in multicam ? Or will it record as PIP ?

Thanks

The second camera can swivel but not tilt. Second angle is VGA sized and PIP only. The only application I see is taking selfie

Then this is not much use ... I am hoping can use it for multicam purpose ... :bsmilie:
