High shutter speed

In canon 60D manual, it says that high shutter speed should be AVOIDED
for fast moving subject as it would look jerky.

So now, I am wondering, when would high shutter speed be best used ?
Slow moving subjects ?
Doesn't quite make sense to me......

High SS usually for sports and action, which isn't actually suited for DSLR video unless you're not moving / static.

Also for slowmo. If you're shooting 60fps, you should be shooting at 1/125 shutter speed or 1/250, 1/500 etc so that when you slow it down i.e. conform to 30fps or 24fps, there won't be ghosting.
