High Definition Camcorders as good as Mid-Range camera like Fz28,Lx3??

As above, i like to know if possible.

I like to take photos and videos too.

I was thinlking especially for fast actions like F1, taking video is much easier.

Also, you can also take still photos from time to time.

Most cameras come with Hd VIDEO recording.

Qn is are they comaprable too HD camcorders?

Another qn is which is the bets camcorders now.

the way i see its either or.
dslrs can take videos but of course to a certain extent and most video cams now also can take still photos.
the question is, which do u need more of? as with most other gadgets, manufacturers will concentrate on one aspect(video) and use the other aspect(still images) to compliment the overall product.

for now i belive dslrs with videocapabilities are still in its infancy stage, give it time to mature.
