Hello everybody,

I am wondering how many Konica M-hexanon 35mm f2 have released into the market~?

As we all know, Konica have other versions of 35mm f2 in L-mount and all are limited edition which just made 1000.But Konica M-heanon 35mm f2 is the only M-mount version. It's very interesting that Konica made this M-mount lens that was not limited edition but I think this lens is also hard to find in the market now.

So welcome any information about this lens~~~!!! I will appreciate for your help~

Cheers,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I'm not sure how many M Hexanons were produced but the 35mm lenses are harder to get than both the 50mm and 90mm versions. I have the 50mm F2.0 and 35mm F2.0 versions and both are really great lenses for the money. The 35mm is pricier -- bought mine on eBay for about SG$1600, which is really a good price for a mint set. Some people in the forum quoted me SG$1800 for the 35mm M Hexanon. I was also told that I should have bought the Zeiss Biogon 35mm F2.0 for that kind of money but I'm quite satisfied with my Hexanon's performance at the moment.

You can see some B&W M-Hexanon shots here:

I'm a little biased when I say this, but I think the hexanon renders in a more pleasing way than the zeiss :) Unless you're looking for something clinically sharp.

Hi FBA,Deeply thanks for your informational~ Great shoots indeed~! Seems M-hexanon 35mm f2 is also good at B&W!

I found this lens is in highly built quality. Many people say this lens is better than Leica 35mm f2. Anyway,it's depend. But I do love this lens so much.

Cheers

Kevin
