hi bros just bought aye KM Z3, 1st time using digi cam and into digi cam lol.. any advise fer me regards to KM Z3 ? and also any nice accessories i can buy for it ? last but not least.. where sells the cheap & good rechargeable NIMH batt + charger to suit my Z3 huh ?

Don't jump into accessories first. Shoot and understand your camera first. Rechargeables and bigger memory card are the first thing you may need. Sanyo NiMH AAs are good. Get the newer 2300mAH or better. Most camera shops and supermarket sells them.

There are many reviews on this camera, read them. You'll get better idea on what's available and whether you need them or not.

eastgear has one of the cheapest pricing for these rechargable batts in singapore and that's the lowest you can find.

I agree with Drudkh. Both Eastgear & Mohd Mustafa have the lowest price on rechargeable NiMH batteries in Singapore. If you can find them cheaper elsewhere, I'm sure lots of people would also like to know.

Z3 is quite perfect for 1st timers - full SLR-type controls, ultra-zoom, AA-batteries...

>Take note of the focus ranges (pg 24 & 35 in the manual)
>The electronics of the Z3 is rather twitchy - dun b surprise it sometimes get hung up. Juz remove & re-insert the batteries.
>Indoor shooting require "more patience" than outdoors.
>The LCD black-out about after 40~50 secs of inactivity - this is normal for the Z-series
>In addition to batteries, u shd get a ultra-speed SD for this if not already.
