hey what happened to our rangefinder "isle" cafe?

I went peninsula today and discovered isle cafe is closed down?

now where can i eat lunch and admire RF at the same time, and snoop on people who drool over lenses

now this coleman cafe (that replace isle cafe) does not even open for business during lunch wan

RF hobby is not the same again without isle cafe lor.

Isle Cafe has moved over to Excelsior.
But of course, personally I feel that it is never the same again.
The proximity of the several RF camera shops to Isle while one sits down and TCSS over coffee and meals really gives a nice, homely, cosy feeling to those who are crazy over their machines, even when they are having food.
Certainly Chiif is right over at Excelsior. But he is upstairs.. maybe Chiif would consider moving to the ground floor just outside the new Isle Cafe ... LOL

All these ideas have already been suggested to the boss, now waiting for his action. Around 10yrs back when playing hifi over at adelphi there was this cafe fiddleheads located there and my gang would just hang out there having a good meal and coffee after our hifi sessionsat the shops, they sell cds and hifi stuff too. Now left the chicken rice cafe at level 2.

Another thing chiif can do is let ppl buy food n drinks from isle cafe and consume inside his premises heehee

at the old isle cafe, you can look at RF whilst standing in the queue, coz the long queue is right beside the BenPhoto front display. The long queue did not seem very painful.

at the new isle cafe, not only is there no RF to see, but it is also very crowded lar. It really not the same liao.

I want to tar pao and bring to eat at chiif's place
