I've been trying to find out more about the special characteristics/signature of this lens but got no where except that it's limited in quantity.

Hope some of you can share some details..:)
 

Sharp where needed, good OOF transition, beautiful smooth bokeh, and renders colors very well! Especially nature greens and reds. :)

No, i don't own one - but i would love to, more so than a noctilux.
It's one of the best balanced speed vs sharpness lens out there :thumbsup:

If you go around RFF, you'll see some pretty outstanding comments about this lens.
 

hey,

the lens renders beautiful colours especially on slide film. weight is not too heavy like the canon 0.95 or noctilux. built is first class better than leica's. basically a classic render lens with modern coating. a keeper. but with a diameter of 62mm.

note, look for later batch, the earlier 3 digits back focuses on the m8.

I owned 3 and they r great to keep and easy to sell. a very nice piece of Japanese lens.

Too expensive for me to afford now la :sweat: this year bonus not very impressive :cry:
