Help with Rollei ASA DIN selector

Hi everyone,

I just bought a Rollei 35S. Somehow, I can't turn the ASA DIN selector. I called the place I bought it from, he said have to press a button and slide. I do not see any button, so kinda confused. Is it just hard to turn or do we really have to do something to turn it? It is now empty without film. Does it have to have film before we can chnage the ASA? Please please help cause otherwise I may have to return it soon.

Hi Shootz,

The ASA DIN selector is incorporated on the Aperture selection wheel. It is smaller diameter
plastic wheel with two small opposing protruding pins. It rotates with a ratchet motion and is independant from the Aperture wheel rotation. Check yours if these pins are broken.:bigeyes:
