Help. Problem with Nikon lens for Sony VG-30

Hi there,

I need help.

I attached a Nikon lens into the VG-30.

I can manually adjust the F stop, focus and the rest.

But when I tried to record, it says:

"Verify that the lens is attached. If the lens is non-corresponding lens, please change the following settings:
[Shooting w/o Lens
Disable]"

Q1. What does that mean ?

Q2. Where to find the menu "Shooting without lens" ?

Sounds similar to m4/3 cameras.

Q1. By setting [shooting w/o lens] to [ENABLE], you're basically telling the camera "Allow operation even there is no supported lens attached."

Q2. No idea as I don't own one... check the manual/user guide?

In the settings menu. Find "release w/o lens". Or just RTFM.
