I need some help for gf's birthday this weekend. I know she wants a video camera so was planning to get her one. She doesn't fancy those digicams with video recording capabilities and wants a proper, dedicated video cam. She'll probably use it for casual, fun recording and nothing serious, and I was thinking of those vertical-styled video cameras because they are more compact. I've been looking around and the most decent ones I found are the Panasonic HX-WA10 or the HX-DC1.
Anyone can share their thoughts on these models and if you know of any other video cameras that I should consider? If you know where I can go to browse around, that'd be great too. Oh, and my budget for this is probably around 500-600 bucks. Not going to spend TOO much on this because I don't know how long her interest will last. Thanks in advanced!
