Hi,
Recently i used Sanyo Xacti HD1010 to help my friend to capture some pre wedding videos.
When i copied the files from the cam into my PC, the file is in MP4 format (H.264 codec).
I have tried to use Adobe Premiere CS3 to import the mp4 clips for editing.
However, the clips are able to be imported into the application but:
1) when played back on the progress monitor and timeline, clip is playing off very jerky
2) seems to crash after i did some cutting/editing on the clips
3) some clips captured in 640 x 480 60fps playback in Premiere is very very jerky, sound don't sync with video
I tried to convert the clips into .avi, .mpg(MPEG2) and only mpg works ok and sharp but Premiere only imports or truncate the clip into like 30 secs which the clip itself is a 3 mins clip.
Can anyone here recommend a solution to this? I need to edit the clips in a more professional program as it involves multi cam. This is really a headache!
My dateline is due this week any help would be appreciated!!
