Help! EastGear BP511 Battery

Bought 2 EastGear BP511 from their shop at Penisula today.
I am charging it using the canon D60 dual battery charger. (charge is 1 by 1)

Base on the book, the charger red lamp blink:
stage 1 - once/second for 0-50% batt charge
stage 2 - twice/second for 50-75%
stage 3 - 3 time/second for over 75%
stage 4 - stays on for almost full

However 1 of the battery go from stage 1 directly to stage 4. Never seen it blink twice or 3times per second. No problem with the other one though.

Is this normal for 3rd party batt ? anyone else encounter the same?

Since these are identical eastgear batt, I don't expect them to behave so differently... and also dunno whether it's fully charged.

I checked the 2 charger slots, confirm not the charger problem.

if you think the battery is faulty, you can always bring it back to EASTGEAR for them to check. They will advise you from there

Dun think it's normal oso for the battery to go 100% when newly bought

yes, it doesn't seems normal, unless EastGear charged for you before they package it which is unlikely

As SniperD suggested, bring it back to EastGear to check, not worth to try it out on your cam if you suspect something is wrong.

Heard they are very helpful and reasonable... Hope i won't see blackface..

Dun worry, we won't give black faces.

Just bring back the battery for a "1 for 1" exchange if you feel that the battery does not perform up to your expectations.
