I bought the body at $1330, the grip at $215 and the flash at $4++...

Actually I agree. I have not bought anything cos I can always find it cheaper elsewhere. I've only ever bought 30 rolls of Fuji Film from them at $3 a roll.

i typically go to them for filters, and odds-and-ends like camera/tripod/bag straps. and of course, their bags.

Are they cheaper for these stuff? Or is it bec they have a large collection? I personally prefer to buy filters from TCW as they see mto be cheaper. But tripods I think they win hands down in terms of selection. Bags I haven't really looked into yet.

tripods and bags CP carry the most range...

as for filters, i'm just too lazy to ask around the other shops as they usually don't have what i want

Hey looks like we are getting off thread already... this thread for wish list for 2003...

For me, a vertical grip for my dimage 7 & dynax 5, of cos, provided Minolta really come up with that...

Also buy a Dynax 7 with a 100mm/f2, a 80-200/f2.8 APO, 28-70mm/2.8... last but not least, a 5600HS Flash,

but this would easily cost $5000+

Anybody out there for cheaper lobang???

Hey bro, where exactly is FotoGuide??? I know where is Alan Photo & Cathay Photo but have yet to go to FotoGuide... and which part of JB would you recommend for cheap camera prices???

FotoGuide opposite Cathay Photo at Peninisular Plaze. They are in the same corridor in that shopping centre.

i got the flash from a shop in Holiday Plaza, 2nd Floor. if i'm not wrong it's called A&A Photo. unfortunately they don't carry minolta stuff anymore
