I'm new to this forum but have been a minolta user! There can be no others!

I have also been following this thread and you guys definately know what you're talking about!

I do have a question tho...

any idea how much does these lens cost second hand?

Minolta 135mm f2.8
Minolta 35-70mm f4 Macro
Minolta 50mm f1.7
Sigma 70-210mm APO f3.5/5.6

I'm a 7000AF and Dimage 7i user. Used to use the dynax 5, x-300 but have decided to go back in time with the 7000AF. I much prefer the feel as compared to the dynax5.

I absolutely love the 7i too! Haven't tried the 7hi tho...

I got my MINOLTA 50mm f/1.7 at $160 from TCW 2nd hand. Mine is the one with a metal mounting ring. I think the later f/1.4 uses plastic or something like that. Heard only lah. I bought it in 2001 mid year.

Yeah I got my Dynax 7 second hand........... but i haven't got the grip ior the flash yet........ maybe 6 months later........... kekekeke!

The body cost me $850. Bought it off a guy here whose friend wanted to switch brands. It was very new, I think only 11 rolls were used, I can't remember altho I did check the log on the camera. The 7 allows u to check the mileage on the camera... it was a good deal lar........ had the box and manual and all the packing material intact......... no scratch marks on the mounting collar at all.......

I usually press <Data> button in the panel under the LCD display. The last count will be shown if I remember correctly.

However, the counter will not be accurate if you do mid roll rewind and reload again, same physical roll of film will be counted twice.

It's all in the manual. Anyway when u load a new roll of film into the camera, a serial number is loaded. One of the numbers in that string tells u the number of rolls that has been shot before on the camera. If u have the manual, can read it to find out lor....... if dun have let me know and I'll dig up my manual and find out for u......
