probably an 80-200 SSM lens (when it comes out) to replace my Tokina 80-200 2.8
Wish lists:
1)Hope to b one of e first few to use minolta new SSM lenses.(ie 28-70 f2.8 G SSM 'D',70-200 f2.8 G SSM 'D', x1.4 Teleconverter SSM 'D'..)
2)Hope tat Minolta will soon come out with a new 400 f4 G SSM 'DS' lens and 400 f4 G SSM 'D' lens to replace the 400 f4.5 G lens. *DS: distance encoder and shock minimiser) Can't think of other name cos got IS(Canon),VR(Nikon) & OS(Sigma) oredi.
3)Start a new era of SSM 'D' or SSM 'DS' lenses,though image stabiliser not a must.
4)Digital Pro SLR: probably call: D7,D7i :at least 8 megapixel(CMOS chip,virtually zero shutter time lag,incoporate Dynax 7 body & feature ,Dimage 7i technology with DEC,in-bulit colour,B/W filter etc.) Price: <$2500
D9,D9i: at least 15 megapixel (Dynax 9 body and e rest same as above)Price: <$7000

a tad late but my wish is to buy a dynax5/7 *wif lens* by the end of this yr. 
U buy how long ago uncle??!! I asked for the grip specifically at Alex. I emailed Cathay about the Dynax 7 6 months after it was launched and they quoted $1280. The flash is around there $400 estimated from the price of the 5400 which is also a HSS but without D-metering or something like it. Anyway this fancy feature works with D lens only I think. The 5600 was launched just for the Dynax 7 I was told by Fotoguide.
Really hoping to get it at $800-1K lor. But also a bit uncertain about the Minolta/Konica merger. Not going for DSLR, that's for sure. The digicam I aim for the Fuji FInepixS602 which costs as much as the Dynax 7 body. So the analog first then the digital one. Hehe..ambitious or not for 2003?!
