Helios 44-2M help needed! (on focusing)

Hi all,

I have a Helios 44-2M 58mm f2.

Not knowing that accessing the optical element is through the front,
I went to unscrew the back part which has 3 screws.
Just wanted to clean the inner glass elements :/

But now, it seems that I cannot turn the aperture ring anymore.
And the focus became super stiff.
I unscrewed one of the 3 screws at the back abit and the aperture ring can now turn but the focus is stiffer than usual.

I did a google and it said that I might have not connected the focusing helicord thingy to the aperture/lever/what not.

Was totally working when I had it, and I just had itchy hands to go unscrew it lol.
If it cant work I dont mind selling it to anyone here who can make it work for 70 dollars.

Adapted and mounted it on my 60d. Pictures look perfect actually but its a pain knowing that its not what its supposed to be like focusing :/

Help anyone?

UPDATE!
Fixed the focusing but the aperture ring is still kinda stiff and doesnt click, it slides nicely though.
any suggestions?

I've a strong feeling that the small ball bearing for the aperture clicking during selection has just shot off into the stratosphere! LoL!

no actually haha. I kept both of it safely tucked away.

I kinda actually fixed it already.

aperture ring and focusing works perfectly now. only thing left is to put the two ball bearings back but actually I kinda prefer a smooth aperture ring.

dslrs these days and their metering. who needs click stops or half click stops haha.
feels nicer too :)

but I have absolutely no idea how to put those ball bearings back haha.

Haha! I, myself, get tempted to de-click all my non-auto aperture lenses at time to let it run AV freely.. Haha!
