Anyone here has any experience/pictures/comments on the 903/905 SWC? I've been offered one and am thinking of getting it.

Grab it. Better than most cameras.
A Biogon lens so sharp and distortion free, it is frightening.
In this camera, the camera is built to accomodate the lens, not the other way around.

It is quirky to use, but the results are brilliant...

I've had a lot of joy from the camera. Very easy to use hand-held, as there is no mirror assembly. Hasselblad SWC's are scale focussing cameras, although a ground glass attachment for focussing is available. Without the focusing screen, you need to be able to judge distances accurately. Generally, the DOF is so good it makes up for my focussing errors.

This is really worth it it costs 10k+ new, The 903swc is probably the best model and you can't get it new anymore.

I just found out that I will need to get a magazine back for the 903SWC. The old back is leaking. Anyone know how much one of those cost and if a digital back would fit?

Yes, a digital back will fit. I've used it on a PhaseOne before, and it cool.

A new back will cost about a thousand, you can prolly get 2nd hand ones for a coupla hundred either at Adelphi, Peninsular plaza or shopping centre.

hmm.. problem with 2nd hand ones will be the same with the old one.. light leakage...

The light seals on the film magazines can be replaced. I'd send it to a service centre first for an assessment.

I can replace the mag light trap seal for less then S$40.00
