The HC lenses do not come with an aperture ring - which makes it a bummer to use on a DSLR body - you can only shoot wide open.
I've seen many use the V system lenses on their nikons and canons - you get very creamy shots with the V lenses.
I asked around this before...and did quite a lot of searching, including talking with the manufacturers of V adapters.
I have a 1d3 which I am trying to sell, but no bites, so I was thinking if I can use my H lenses on the Canon body, but no go. Apparently the H lenses cannot be adapted to use with 35mm cameras...or actually, they can, but nobody makes the adapter now, because it needs some reverse engineering to allow the body to talk to the lens - aperture setting is the most critical, leaving the leaf shutter open always and using the body's focal plane shutter.
As promised

Taken with 5DMKII ISO 25600 1/200 f/4 on my Hasselblad 120mm f/4 Makro-Planar CF T* with adaptor to C/Y and C/Y to EOS.
Sorry on the grain taken with high ISO. The camera JPeg file just darken a bit.
