Wah! Really touched you folks actually start a thread for my birthday. To think we never met face to face before. Thank you.

Yes, I'm in Edinburgh, Scotland. Freezing cold down here. My fingers are still stiff even as I type. In Singapore, we'd gladly hop into the cool air-condition bus. Down here, I'm glad to huddle under bus stop, sheltered from against the biting cold wind, until I get to defrost in the warm cosy bus. Whew! All thanks to a wonderful student to gave me her email account password, otherwise I wouldn't have the chance to be writing to you folks now.

Weather has been dull and rainy for the past few days, making photography difficult. We'll see how it goes as the days go by.
