Given a choice, with so little difference, I take Kingston, at least it is more reputable ...... hagiwara is famous one time too .... for the wrong reasons ;).

Nothing much actually, just Harigwara CF card in it's previous batches are prone to data losing or corruption. I heard it was fixed in the later batch, but since then I don't buy it any longer, so I can't really comment on the later batch.

blurblock,

so you using kingston hah ? any problems so far or the speed. have not heard many ppl using kingston lei.

:dunno:

their packaging even same as their RAM chip... :bsmilie:

How about Transcend?
Is it japan made, taiwan made or china made?

The chips are normally packaged and manufactured in China (cheaper manufacturing costs).

For a DC.. any brand of reputed CF card, even like hagiwara should do just fine for a DC. IMHO, no sense paying $30 more for the Kingston.

It's like I buy Hyundai RAM chips in place of Kingston's ones. Why? Cheap. And it runs too :)

IMO... I'd pick transcend... cos I've been using it for so long it never gives me problems. I've seen people using Ridata and Sandisk UltraII and also Kingston.

Perfectly ok. :) Don't worry too much. I think you can keep a look out on the prices instead :)
