The long awaited Google Tango is now commercially shipped in the new Lenovo Phab2 smartphone.
This brings depth sensing and real world mapping to a tiny handheld device.
Low polygon count 3D assets are easily transposed with Tango enabled augmented reality app.
Forseeably, with better processing power in the future, camera makers can incorporate Tango into future models.
This could allow for much simpler post production workflow for CGI or even in-camera CGI!
