Just wanted to say how I'm impressed with the service at KT today. I developed abt 60+ photos there today but there was some cropping problems with the photos due to my own fault I guess  However, they offered to redevelop everything for me on the spot. A few minutes later the photos came out perfect :) The staff there were really friendly and the prints are really cheap (30cents for 4R, no min handling charge i think) and superb quality, using fuji crystal archive supreme.

If anyone wants to develop photos, just keep KT in mind ;)

The only cons is that its really quite far for me, but I think the pros really outweigh the cons here. Just to clarify that I'm not related to them at all, just a satisfied customer :D

Impressive? Oh yes, I have no doubt about that.

Remember, you must look for Michelle, the super-duper-friendly-and-patient-and-pretty girl! :D

Yup. They are really nice people. Think Michelle handled my order and she was very patient with me. Imagine me, choosing 25 slides to print from 6 rolls of slides. Other shops would have thrown me a pen and paper, to write down which one i want. But, upon seeing the no. of rolls of slides of i had, she helped me by letting me choose while she help me confirm and write down which one i wanted.

I agree on the location. A little out. Hmm..if only they do online printing/mail orders. ;)

Regards

their services are really good. there quite a few labs within walking distance from my office, but i still rather travel abt 45 mins everyday to do my printing there.

they have no air and are willing to caters toward each customer's special needs.

helo, I was the guy sitting at the back :)

from your conversation, I kinda guessed that you might be the one at fault, but I kept quiet :)

cheers

Where is this place exactly? any specific mrt stations or landmarks to identify with? I'm not good with road names.

Hi tmc17479,

It's at Hong Lim Complex, or look for China Town Point if you want a bigger landmark. The shop is facing Upper Cross Street. It is marked with a red star on this street directory map. Hope that helps. :)

(Oh ya... I was there just a few minutes before rueyloon was there...) :)

i was there today too.. very nice and accomodating staff there.

Hey.... I was there too... but didn't see anyone... :(

bAa - agree... Michelle is the best. Actually Lily was very nice too - she realised they missed out printing my 42xS8Rs and she sent them on the spot... 15min later all done!
 that's what I call great service

... i'm not related to them either, just a long-converted customer...

fyi .... Lily is the LauPangLiang, super businesswoman.
Michelle is her assistant .... super-friendly.
The big boss is the cameraman inside ... nice humble man u least expected.

They have another branch in, i think Bkt Batok.

Quality is same lor, but that branch doesn't offer CS pricing. :( :(
anyway, the shop name is Miao Lan Color or something like that. You can find it listed amongst the FDI labs in Photoi mag.

Lily is the laupangniang - that's right. SK tan is the smaller gentleman, though he is hardly ever around... he's a pretty good photog though, a DSLR user. But all-in-all, Lily and Michelle are the bestest! - enjoy going there cuz they always make you feel you're someone special to them.

(BTW, I think Michelle must've heard bAa singing her praises... was there yesterday and heard that she had to take urgent leave to recover... )

Guys, do you know how much they charge for developing + scans to CD? Need to do a D&D shoot this evening and need scans. Don't want to waste my time scanning it myself. And how is the quality of the scans? Thanks!

its $3 for developing the roll, $5 for scanning.
haven't try the scaning though, so can't really comment.

if you have a roll of film and wanna develop into prints and scan as well, it's $3 (film processing charge) + $whatever the cost of the prints + $3 (scanning).

if you have a roll of film and wanna scan it without printing, it's $3 (film processing charge) + $5 (scanning).

:)

Thanks, what's their scan resolution?
