hi all,

would like to share my pleasant experience at Cathy Photo (Penisular Branch), i was there to purchase a closeup filter (which costs less than S$20) and i was in a hurry i didn't check the filter before leaving. later in the night, found out that there is one 2-3mm white spot (fungus??) on the filter  ..... called them up the next day to tell them abt the filter and requested for an exchange, the kind lady who answer my call agreed to my request. unfortunately CP got no more stock of the filter, but the kind lady agreed to call the dealer to check on the stock, by the next working day the filter was delivered to CP and ready for my collection! i am really impressed by their service, even for an inexpensive item that cost less than S$20.

Now i understand why CP is always so crowded!!!!!

cheers..............

wow i wanna go there liao
got sell lcd protector?

I had a good experience there too. Bought a telephoto from them which turned out defective, brought it back a week later and they willingly exchanged it for a new one. They didn't have to and I would've had to go back to Canon. But sad to say the second one also had a problem and that's when I brought it to Canon!

you haven't heard of the CP Peninsula chap who helped my dad to get an Olympus cameracase although it was like one or two weeks after the initial purchase of the E1 AND checking with me if my dad had already redeemed his $200 E1 voucher when he saw me in the store. where to get this kinda service? ;)

well just purchase my underwater housing from cp last sat
price is reasonable, and for the service i think its well spent

the shop was full of people, then a newbie like me was shooting all sorts of stupid question, they answered all with a smile and even offered advices.

actually have walked in cp a few times before i purchased my stuff, always greeted with a smile, the staff even reconised me when i return to make my purchases.
