I guess this is another case where speed to market is more impt than fancy innovation. The last i read, the guys at kick starters were still trying to solve some issue with the product. Their chinese competitor has already start selling...

The technology is not rocket science. There are no defining new technology that is patented. Better launch quick. This is business. I guess the kickstarter one will die in the cradle.
