GH5s auto focus pull feature

I wonder if Panasonic will give GH4 and Gh5 this feature in a firmware update?

I wonder how it differs from tap-to-focus as you move the slider along?

If you tap to focus, the lens will do the classic forward backward contrast detect testing before focus is achieved.
But with the electronic markers method, the 'testing' is done before you record so and the lens element just moved into the memorised position when you tap instead of repeating the 'testing' again.
