Interesting... 43rumours just upgraded the rumour to FT5 (FT5=81-99% chance the rumor is correct), first half of 2014.

Hope its true and my prediction for 2015 launch/delivery is wrong.

I would be darn happy with a 4k sensor and having to use it at 1080p 120fps, and having the option to use 4k 25fps for special projects.

Just looking at Canon C100 1080p image, as its also using a 4K sensor will give a good grasp of the kind of image quality and i expect GH4 to be even better.

This will basically kill off the whole Canon C series … Even has XLR & 4:2:2 10bit …

I'm glad i invested in quite a few M43 lenses.

Early days yet. There is also a possibility that the new 4K camera may not replace GH3 but exist as the new flagship.

They didn't even put any effort into the mockup, looks like they just threw a sticker on a GH3 body :bsmilie:

From the CES 2014 pic. It looks like a GH3 with 4k unlocked. No difference in form factor or buttons

Looking back at CES2012, Panasonic also had similar non-working mockups (with stickers too :bsmilie, labelled 'concept lens', placed under display cases.
It was the new X lenses, turned out to be quite representative of the final product.
