Cool. But where to buy & how much ?

What is the max weight of camera it can carry ?

Just looking at their website, buy through them directly. (via Payal)

I bought the original version of this design from DSLR Devices.dslr-devices Filmsy. Dangerous to both user and equipment.

Saw the dslr-device crane before, yes looks pretty filmsy, M1 seems a bit more solid, Carbon fiber tubing. Not sure but will test it out. haaaa
Placed my order last night :bsmilie:

You'll be fine as long as you don't tilt the panhead forward. The weight of the jib may tip the head over. When it does, DON"T stick your hand into the parrallelogram, I learnt the hard way-OUCH!

All single rail crane incl dslr devices and aviator, etc are more flimsy compared to dual arm systems. But if u dun have a crew of 3, it's incredible tiring and frustrating to use those big cranes incl the kesslar pocket jib cause it's really heavy.

Each has it's usage.

Need to ask whether the mini-crane can support your set-up. My FotoCrane UltraLite cannot support my set-up. Canon 60D with Samyang 14mm lens will cause my crane tilted to the left downwards a little and I cannot do a full 180deg sweep. I need to compensate by adjusting my tripod legs height OR by shortening the arm length.

Based on the GearContact MiniCrane, that tilting issue won't be problem but I am questioning whether your setup will cause the arm to bend slightly.

Hope it helps in you making the decision to purchase.

Hey, thanks for posting this! i just ordered one and will post what I think of it when I get it soon. Looks better than the other mini cranes that are out there. - Alex

Alex>>> Do share your reviews. In my opinion, ProAm 4ft Crane will be the rival to TS's subject.
