any particular setting for the dry cabinets that are considered "optimal"?

mine seems to go down to 40% humidity regardless of what i set it at..

im worried that if it is too dry it might dehydrate the rubber/leather (??) exterior of the camera and cause it to crack? Will this happen? or can i just set it to the lowest humidity and not worry?

Try to keep the RH between 45% and 50%.
