8.50 is superia.. natura 1600 24exposures cost prob ard $10

36 exp ones are more costly around $15 or so.. you can check jap photo mag and convert the prices.

i have a few rolls fresh if you guys are keen. i havent been shooting alot 35mm lately :bsmilie:

Tested both. They are the same thing. Same emulsion. No diff!

if same thing why does fujifilm package them differently locally and abroad? maybe you like to use some facts to show us they are the same? i believe superia 1600 grains are much more coarse as compare to natura 1600

Fuji wouldn't be the first company doing this and this film is not the first product which is marketed differently in Japan vs. the rest of the World. Just look at Canon's naming (numbers vs. 'Rebel something') or car models or .. you name it.
Here a link to a forum, last posting contains the links to data sheets of the films (hope they still work, haven't checked): http://www.apug.org/forums/archive/index.php/t-39403.html
It is also mentioned in some forums that Natura film is marketed as companion to the Natura camera series. Marketing-wise a perfect combo.

Hey guys! Sorry for digging up an old thread. Need to get some high speed film immediately as I just came back from a trip and forgot all about ordering film. Need to get some natura 1600!

Does anyone have any idea where to get it from?

And if not what other high speed color film do you recommend?

Thanks.
Amrit.

You can get Superia 1600 (rumoured to be the same stock at Natura 1600) as an alternative in Konota or the photoshop at level 1 at Adelphi. If you want to get strictly Natura 1600, a shop called "36" in sunshine plaza sells it.
