tried the E900 today with a potential buyer-fren. din really trust those online magazines about how the cam excels, but after testing it, the online reviewers ain't BS about the quality.

PQ is real good, even at ISO800, noise is very well-controlled and useable out of the cam. a well-above-average performer in its class. :thumbsup: did some rough comparison with other brands/models at ISO800, taking the same dark subject, the E900 easily creams others in terms of detail-noise performances in the shadow areas. my fren bought it after seeing the impressive performance.

for the given pricetag of $399 excl GST, you get a lot more features than one would expect from a 9MP bracket. RAW mode, video, multi-mode MSAP programs, etc it's a real steal...

I was at sls 1st and 2nd flr ytd asking around for f11/z2/v10/e900 prices.
None could beat e900 with mscolor, most were in the range of 7**.
Most selling z2 for around 450 but i was quoted 360 at this digital shop at the corner near hin huat right where u come up from the escalator. This salesguy called Lim was helpful and said reason it can be that low is because they bring in a lot. But only silver color available. Alan Photo is 450 with 512card i think.
v10 should be around 490 because quite a few shops are able to offer similar price.

u like z2? v10 is larger lcd only ...
