Fuji Acros grain

I realized that developing Fuji Acros 6X6 using HC110 produce an almost grainless image.

It is so smooth that after scanning it looks like a Digital Cam image, which I do not want.

How to get some grain from it?

have to try this out, always looking for less grain ;-)

I am surprised, hc110 is not know to be a super fine grain developer. Maybe give it a try with rodinal .
A safer option for guarantied grain is pushing the film to double or triple ISO when exposing, and develop accordingly .

Good suggestion!

I did pushed it to ASA200 with no obvious increase in grain (6X6).
HC110 I had been using with 6X6 and 4X5. For 135 I use D76.

I will try with Rodinal, if I can get one bottle!

Exchange it with a roll of HP5 :D

I've pushed Acros 2 stops in 35mm format with HC110, and grain is still very fine.

ahh , sorry, no Rodinal anymore , of course, it is officially named Adonal now ;-)
