Flash not firing off sometimes

Hi im relatively new to flash photography. im using a 60d with a nissin di622 mark 2 and its set to full auto. Well, sometimes my flash would not fire off. Does anyone know what would be the problem. any help would be appreciated. thank you

possible causes for flash didn't not fired:

weak batteries,

bad contact,

release shutter before flash fully recharge,



you have to more specific, in what kind of situation such thing happen, else we just make some wild guess.
if you have no idea, post some photos of flash fired and flash did not fired in the same occasion, so at least we have some cues to short list possible cause.

Like catchlight says, more info is needed. Could also be due to setting the camera's shutter speed faster than the max shutter sync speed..
