Hi,

what does 40X Compact flash card mean?
then the higher the "X", the faster right? don't the camera have a limit on writing to the card itself? what about the 300D?

How much is a 256mb Cf card now?

a 256MB CF should cost at the range of 100-140, you can call the shops and ask them.

depends on the brand...
buy a reliable one. i recommend sandisk ultra
and i paid 250 for a 512 mb
the 256 one should be about half that price... in the 120-130 region..

but i think that shooting 6 mega pix on the 300d, you should get larger than 256...the space will run out really fast. especially if you are doing event shoot.
