Yes, Deunamist the GH3 is superb but I am having slight problem getting to know the camera. Hahaha ...

So looks like you are an expert in GH3 liao ... I still dunno how to use the GH3 to shoot video and get a shallow depth of field with the background blur ... (I can get in still photo but on the same instant I click record the dof is gone !!). Any tips ?

Anyway, in this video you use sliders ?

I tried both manual focus as well as auto focus. But both oso cannot get the background to blur even though I used the same settings as still (which I can get the background to blur)

Any tips ?

that's weird. any screenshots? what lens you using? and what settings are you shooting on? bokeh should depend on your aperture.

I used various lens, Panny 12-35mm f2.8, Panny 35-100mm f2.8, Panny 25mm f1.4.

I wish to reiterate that I can get the shallow of depth with blurring background on still with these lens. It is only video that I cannot get. I am sure I am missing something ... I just need somebody to show a newbie like me how to use it. Hahaha ...
