Left one roll in my bag when I went to for army check-up, but ... what will happen?

ISO400, Tri-X, B&W.

Should be fine; do not think the film will fog.

If possible, insist for a hand-carry check. It would really depend on the X-ray of the airport.

for ASA800 & above, I wouldnt wanna risk putting my valuable shots just because the machine says "film safe"

I am prob getting a film safe bag soon, got some travels lined up for me next year, 1 month in UK & somewhere mid year, Hainan Island, time I traveled abit ;)

Got this quotes from Cathay via email:

Op/Tech X-ray pouch small @S$27.00

Op/Tech X-ray pouch medium @S$35.00

Op/Tech X-ray pouch Large @S$52.00

Most likely am going for the medium size ones. oh ya, add 7% GST to those prices above to be exact.

Oh yea, always hand carry your film in your hand lugguage, be nice & let the security officer hand check your films. X-ray machines for baggage is usually stronger than the hand carried luggage
