Good luck in finding one. I have posted the same type of message on the board almost two weeks ago and only two replies but that is only if you're willing to pay their fees. Singapore really doesn't have a market for this type of modeling. Good luck.

Try changing your approach. You will be able to get them.

And what approach would you suggest? It's true though. I've lived here for five years already and even though I'm willing to pay for their time and give them some shots, the market just doesn't exist as it does in other, more "open" countries. Yes, it has to do with the place we live in, the culture and lifestyle but I have just found it harder to improve upon my portfolio in this area.

I would be interested in learning what approach would actually work. Thanks for your help.

Firstly, ClubSNAP though a photography forum is the wrong place to get them. You can always find them in clubs and pubs. Or just advertise your portfolio.

For something like nudes, if you are just going to put a post asking for a quote and schedule - you are not going to get much replies.

Firstly, instead of just asking for a nude model. it helps if you can share some of the concepts and ideas of what you are thinking of shooting and how you intend to execute them. It will help greatly, if you have some samples of your portfolio work so that potential models can take a look and the type of themes that you shoot and whether they will be comfortable to explore a shoot with you.

If you are building up your portfolio on nudes, one way is to build on the comfort zone and trust by shooting non-nudes so that both sides can explore if they are comfortable to do a nude shoot. It is a vulnerable position for a model to be nude and there has to be a certain level of comfort and trust between the model and the photographer.

There are definitely nude models in Singapore, however you do need to establish the trust and comfort zone first.

Just my 2 cents.
