FA 50mm 1.4 vs DA 40mm 2.8 limited

FA43 is a very special lens, it's the first Limited lens by Pentax. The lens is small and compact, very sharp when stop down abit. At F4 or 5.6, it's really hard to find any sharper lens. It produces some creamy bokeh with nice 3D rendering. I'm sure you'd love it if you have one

Enough said? Now go and get one 43, so you'd have a full set of FA Limited :bsmilie:

own both. in terms of the "feel" of the image... i prefer the FA50. somehow the images just "feels" better. DA40 tends to be a bit more uhm... "cold". BUT I've not use the DA40 as much as my FA50, so for me I'm still exploring.
