Hi all,

Found a brand new F11 comes with 1GB xD, selling at $260. Is this a good buy? The F31fd is a bit out of my budget.

Thanks.

If it is brand new and comes with warranty, buy it.

Pricey

I got my f20 back in Mar for S$299 with 512M

I have tried out the F11 and personally think it's a great camera! However considering the new cameras on the market, it is a little expensive (about 200 would be good), but nonetheless a good buy! I'll post a photo taken with the F11 tomorrow.

Hi andretheng, i just bought it last weekend, still trying to learn how to use it, i'm using most of the time "A" mode, adjusting aperture and ISO all the time. Tried to use the "Chrome" colour for portrait shoot, not really like the colour. Overall, it is a good low light camera.

Looking forward for you pictures to be uploaded. Thanks.

I think it's performance is close to F30 rite?

I am a Canon EOS 5D owner. And I also own a F30. Even now when I look at the fuji images, it never fails to amaze me. The colour is so brilliant and the images are so sharp (for a smaller size jpeg of course). Images taken directly off the camera is so usable. But high iso noise control cannot be compared to dslar la.

For sake of convenience and good off-the camera quality, I recommend Fuji point and shoot.

The F11 I used was actually my friends one. Was throughly impressed. It had excellent battery life, was compact, and was very fast. The photos were good too, even in indoor conditions. I was in the market for a PnS a few months back, and was impressed with the reviews for the F31fd. That was kinda over budget, and after trying the F11, I wanted an F Series Camera. Was going to get the F20 but I think it went out of production before I could buy one, and I chose the S5700 instead. Wasn't disappointed.

Those photos were taken withmy S5700. It has excellent macro!

I can't quite remember what settings there are to play with on the F11, but do try them out. I think the ISO needn't be changed, just leave it at about 200 or so and you should be safe.

Hope that helps!

Don't wait la buy it. Recently just send mine for servicing under warranty after dropping onto a hard metal ground.

Staff did also agreed with me that it was indeed a very good compact camera. Furthermore, it was made in Japan whereby all the compact camera of the F series after F11 are all made in china.

However, the lastest 1 think should ne the f50d it have quite an appearing look. But think double the price.

Hi andretheng, thanks for sharing your pictures, very nice...
